Let’s Talk About Couples Finances

Talking about money with your partner can be tricky. As an Accredited Financial Counselor, even I have a money story I bring to the table (i.e., former single mom, risk averse, control freak, money expert) and starting these conversations can be hard.

So I brought in the big guns!

My friend and fellow financial coach Adam Kol focuses exclusively on couples -- he even teaches other financial coaches how to be better with their couples clients -- and he’s a former lawyer himself!

We discussed how to open up the conversations with your partner about money, how to organize your finances if you're in a relationship, and how to keep those lines of communication open as you move forward.

We even covered how to maneuver situations where one partner makes more (maybe a lot more) than the other.

Here’s a little more about Adam…

Adam H. Kol, J.D. is a Couples Financial Coach. He helps couples who love each other make sure the money conversation doesn't get in the way, leading to financial clarity, confidence, peace of mind, and partnership!
